Jenesis Innovative Research AwardsTM
The Jenesis Innovative Research Awards ™ provide support to US- and Canada-based investigators who are engaged in innovative research that will advance scientific knowledge and enhance patient care in pulmonary hypertension (PH), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), or lung transplantation (LTx). The program encourages submissions exploring topics in health equity, determinants of health, and marginalized populations. Applicants must be part of an appropriate research group and under the supervision of a qualified mentor. Up to four awards of up to $100,000 each will be issued annually.

Potential applicants for a 2027 award must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) prior to moving forward with submission of a full proposal. An LOI must be submitted no later than Sunday, October 25, 2026, 11:59 PM, ET.
LOI applicants will be notified on Sunday, November 15, 2026 if their LOI has been approved.

The Jenesis Trailblazer Awards™ provide a funding award to exceptional US- or Canada-based clinicians who are conducting innovative research in the fields of pulmonary hypertension (PH), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), or lung transplantation (LTx). Up to two unrestricted research grants of up to $5,000 will be issued to the awardee's affiliated research institution for a project of their choice.
