2026 Jenesis Innovative Research Awards™

The Jenesis Innovative Research Awards ™ provide support to US- and Canada-based investigators who are engaged in innovative research that will advance scientific knowledge and enhance patient care in pulmonary hypertension (PH), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), or lung transplantation (LTx). The program encourages submissions exploring topics in health equity, determinants of health, and marginalized populations. Applicants must be part of an appropriate research group and under the supervision of a qualified mentor. Up to four awards of up to $100,000 each will be issued annually.

Potential applicants for a 2026 award must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) prior to moving forward with submission of a full proposal. An LOI must be submitted no later than Tuesday, September 30, 2025, 11:59 PM, ET.
LOI applicants will be notified on Friday, October 31, 2025 if their LOI has been approved.

2026 Jenesis Trailblazer Awards™

The Jenesis Trailblazer Awards™ provide recognition to exceptional US- or Canada-based researchers or clinicians who have completed innovative research in the fields of pulmonary hypertension (PH), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), or lung transplantation (LTx).

A one-time award up to $5,000 will be issued for professional development and/or training of their choice. Nominate an outstanding colleague, mentor, or mentee.

Nomination deadline is Friday, January 16, 2026.
